Biking / Hiking News
The Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair is now open daily! Take a ride on the Scenic Sky Chair and experience the most breathtaking views in all of Big Bear. Enjoy lunch on the deck at the mountain top BBQ then ride the chair down or hike one of the ski runs leading back to the base area. What a great way to spend a few hours with family and friends! Golf News
Bear Mountain Golf Course and driving range is now open! The 9-hole, mountain-style course offers club rentals, cart rentals, lessons and a wide variety of golf clothing and accessories. If your game is a little rusty after the long winter, check in with PGA Golf Professional Dallas Goldsmith and schedule a group or private video lesson to tune up your swing. He's even offering free 15 minute clinics to get you started on the right track! And don't forget you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the Club House Grill overlooking the 9th hole. The Grill is located in the Bear Mountain Clubhouse. For Club House Grill hours, tee times, lessons and other information call 909.585.8002.

Snow Summit Operating Hours: Sunday through Friday 9am-4pm. Saturday 9am- 5pm.
Food Service Operating Hours: Sunday through Friday 10am-3pm. Saturday 10am-4pm.
Bear Mountain Golf Course Operating Hours: -9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily
Club House Grill Operating Hours: -8 a.m-.6 p.m.

Road Conditions
3 Ways to Big Bear - Highway 330/18 from San Bernardino through Running Springs ("Front Way") is the shortest and most direct route. Highway 38 from Redlands ("Back Way") is the best route when leaving the Valley on weekends and holidays. Highway 18 from Lucerne Valley ("Desert Way") is best in snowy weather.
Hwy. 330 / 18: (Running Springs) SR 330 All roads into the Big Bear Valley are open. For five days the Dam will be closed to traffic starting at 10pm on July 25th and ending on July 30th. The Dam will reopen for weekend traffic. Highway 38 through Fawnskin will remain open during the closure to allow traffic in and out of Big Bear. Some flagging and delays will occur. Please plan accordingly
