Big Bear Mountain Resorts Celebrate Winter-like Conditions in Spring!

4 - 5 Inches of Fresh Snow & 100% Open Terrain
(Big Bear Lake, CA - April 13, 2010) - With over 120 inches of snowfall, Big Bear Mountain Resorts (BBMR) continues to celebrate another extraordinary season with winter-like conditions in spring. Mother Nature has provided another 4-5 inches of fresh snowfall in the last 24 hours providing Bear Mountain and Snow Summit with some of the best spring conditions in California.
Snow Summit will be open daily through at least April 18th and on a day-to-day basis thereafter depending on volume. As spring continues, Bear Mountain remains open on weekends and Bear Mountain Season Passes will be valid at Snow Summit anytime.
"The season is not over yet! Thanks to an El Nino winter, we are experiencing continued natural snowfall and 100% of the mountain is open," said Chris Riddle, Director of Marketing for Big Bear Mountain Resorts. "The coverage is perfect and conditions have never been better for this time of year."
Lifts at Snow Summit are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. mid-week, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, and Bear Mountain lifts will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For the latest conditions, log on to www.bigbearmountainresorts.com.
