Bear Mountain and Snow Summit offer 12 runs and over 50 features
(Big Bear Lake, CA - December 1, 2009) - The first snowfall of the season was a perfect storm with 10 - 12 inches of fresh snow, providing some of the best early season conditions to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit in over 5 years! The recent jumpstart to the season has allowed for new features and additional runs at both resorts with unparalleled terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Offering 12 runs and over 50 features, Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are in full swing with ski school, rentals and food services - a perfect mid-week getaway!
Big Bear Mountain Resorts has 12 runs open including Snow Summit favorites such as Miracle Mile, Summit Run, EgoTrip, Upper Westridge and ZZYZX. Bear Mountain's Park Run is newly open this week and Amusement Park is scheduled to open over the weekend. As snowmaking progresses, more lifts and runs will continue to open at both resorts.
