(Big Bear Lake, CA – May 13, 2009) – The winter may be over, but there is no shortage of spring and summer activities at Big Bear Mountain Resorts (BBMR). Enjoy panoramic views from Snow Summit’s Scenic Sky Chair opening on weekends beginning this Saturday, May 16th.
Following an exciting snow-filled winter, Big Bear is in full bloom. Take a break from the hustle and bustle while enjoying the fresh mountain air, bursting colors of wildflowers and spectacular lake views from 8,200 feet in the Scenic Sky Chair; it’s a great way to spend an hour or the entire day.
The Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair will open weekends only beginning this Saturday, May 16th then daily starting June 20th with scenic sightseeing and mountain biking. Log onto www.bigbearmountainresorts.com/summer for the latest information on upcoming activities.

The 2009/2010 Screamin’ Deal Season Passes are available now through May 31st - they pay for themselves in as little as four visits. Passes are valid for both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit and start at only $299 for children and $399 for adults. Season pass holders can use a single pass to access both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit which includes 26 lifts, 430 developed acres, more than 55 runs, and the #1 Park in the Nation.
