If you would like to visit to Snow Summit and/or Bear Mountain, you must fill out an online “Request a Visit” Form at least 48 hours prior to your visit. Complimentary skiing/snowboarding privileges are extended to working members of the media only on a case-by-case basis. Please note the following:
• Complimentary tickets are for credentialed, working media only. Requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.
• A photo I.D. is required to pick up complimentary tickets. You will be required to fill out a release of liability form.
• Your prearranged complimentary lift tickets may be picked up in the Guest Services Office on the day you have requested to ski and/or snowboard. The Guest Services Office at Snow Summit is located directly across from the main offices in the courtyard past the ticket windows. The Guest Services Office at Bear Mountain is located just around the corner to the right of the main ticket windows.
• Following your media visit, we would appreciate you sending us a tear-sheet of your article or video/audio tape which resulted from your visit to Big Bear Mountain Resorts. This helps us keep our files up to date and keep track of coverage. Please do not forget to provide location credit whenever possible.
Big Bear Mountain Resorts respects the emerging media sector of online journalists, photographers and bloggers and will award press passes for online media on a case-by-case basis. When submitting your “Request a Visit” form please include the number of monthly unique visitors (based on a recognized objective measurement company), nature of your site/blog, including audience demographics if available and links to relevant coverage (if your Site/Blog is not widely known).
