Renowned for being some of the industry’s most innovate and influential destinations, Big Bear Mountain Resort features the most rideable terrain in Southern California (678 acres), as well as the region’s only halfpipes and highest lift-served peak (8,805 feet), the first terrain park in North America (Bear Mountain, 1992), the longest continually operating resort (Snow Valley, est. 1924), and site of the first Winter X Games (Snow Summit, 1997). Big Bear Mountain Resort is located in the San Bernardino National Forest, approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles and Orange County and 150 miles from San Diego.
