HOW CAN WE SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE THE VENUES IN PERSON?

A venue tour is complimentary. Please request an appointment to schedule your tour.

HOW DO WE RESERVE A WEDDING VENUE & DATE?
Our wedding representative will help you select your preferred venue date. Once you pick a date and venue, a hold will be placed on both and your representative will send you a contract to review. Sign and return the contract with your first deposit. When you receive a countersigned copy of the contract, your date and venue are official. To get started, contact a wedding representative.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO CHOOSE A MENU?
After your wedding date and venue have been confirmed. Menu selection may not take place until a date and venue have been selected, and must be finalized 30 days prior to your wedding date.

WHEN DO YOU NEED OUR TENTATIVE AND FINAL GUEST COUNT?
A tentative guest count is due when you sign your contract, with the understanding that numbers may fluctuate. The final count is due 30 days before your wedding date.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP LODGING RATES?
Big Bear Mountain Resorts does not currently own/operate any lodging facilities in Big Bear, but lodging packages are available through the Big Bear Visitors Bureau. Visit www.BigBear.com. to choose from motels, hotels, bed & breakfast inns, lodges, private homes, cabins or hostels. With so many options, you're sure to find the perfect fit for you and your guests.

CAN YOU PROVIDE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS IN THE AREA?
BBMR does provide a Preferred Vendors List for services – florists, bakeries, music, etc. – in the area . Please note, all vendors listed have independent pricing and are familiar with our facilities to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible.

WHY IS THERE A 20% SERVICE CHARGE & HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM A TIP?
The 20% service charge covers the service provided by the banquet staff during your wedding. This fee is an industry standard and is placed on all catered functions. It does not cover additional gratuity for your vendors or wedding coordinator, which is at your discretion and not required.

ARE SPECIAL MENU REQUESTS PERMITTED?
Specialty menus, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options can be arranged by contacting your wedding representative.

CAN WE DO A MENU TASTING?
After your signed contract and deposit have been received, your representative will schedule a tasting for you to sample your menu options.

WHAT TRAVEL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO/FROM BIG BEAR?
There are several options to get to/from Big Bear depending on the season and your location, including  three convenient driving routes that are accessible by car or charter bus, and a municipal airport for small, private planes . Charter bus providers can be found on our Preferred Vendors List. Please note, there is no commercial flight or train service to Big Bear.
