  • Central Park Run has new features including a 20 foot bank flat bar.
  • Bear Mountain intends to remain open through at least Sunday and likely into next week, weather and conditions permitting.
  • Early season ticket prices are just $25 for Adults, $20 for Young Adults and $10 for children.
  • Snowmaking will resume at both resorts as conditions permit.
  • Snow Summit stockpiled snow (on the steeps and in the canyons) for another cold spell in effort to have more terrain available than ever for skiers and boarders on opening day.
  • The The Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair is open Saturdays and Sundays for mountain bikers and round-trip sightseers.
  • The Golf Course and Driving Range are open from 10am to 3:30 pm today through Sunday.

3 Ways to Big Bear - Highway 330/18 from San Bernardino through Running Springs ("Front Way") is the shortest and most direct route. Highway 38 from Redlands ("Back Way") is the best route when leaving the Valley on weekends and holidays. Highway 18 from Lucerne Valley ("Desert Way") is best in snowy weather.
