Big Bear is the perfect spot to bring the family or to enjoy a romantic escape close to home. Whether you are mountain biking, hiking, taking a ride on the Sky Chair or teeing off at our 9-hole mountain style golf course, you're sure to enjoy a unique alpine getaway.
SKY CHAIR
The Scenic Sky Chair is open weekends through the beginning of winter operations. Hours of operation are 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and 9 am to 4 pm on Sundays (weather permitting). The Mountain Top BBQ serves lunch from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. Come up and enjoy the spectacular views of the Big Bear Valley.
GOLF COURSE
The Bear Mountain Golf Course, Driving Range, Pro Shop and Club House Grill are open daily, weather permitting. Club House hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Club House Grill serves lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Bear Mountain Driving Range is open from 8:00 a.m. to dusk. Enjoy a round of golf among the pine trees at 7,000 feet and see how much farther your ball flies. Information and tee time are available at 909-585-8002.

Big Bear Mountain Resorts final Job Fair is Saturday October 18th at Snow Summit from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. We are looking for fun, dedicated and hardworking individuals to fill full-time and part-time winter seasonal positions for both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Big Bear Mountain Resorts offers employment for all levels of qualifications, inside and outside. Fall has settled in and winter is just around the corner! Typically, Snow Summit and Bear Mountain open late November and with any luck we'll have an early winter with lots of cold temps and plenty of snow. We will begin snowmaking operations as soon as the weather remains cold and dry. We will announce our expected open date when we begin snowmaking. We're looking forward to Real Snow, Real Close! |
